BACKGROUND:
Robert
A. Mix
graduated from the Dickinson School of Law in 1972 and has
held various positions in Centre County, Pennsylvania, to
include law clerk to the Court of Common Pleas (1972 to 1974);
Assistant District Attorney (1974 to 1982); and District Attorney
(1982 to 1986). He accepted a position with the firm in 1986,
concentrating in the area of civil litigation. His primary
practice includes insurance defense and subrogation litigation
in the areas of motor vehicle, landowner, business and product
liability. His practice also includes real estate litigation
pertaining to easement, right-of-way and boundary disputes;
contract litigation pertaining to employment and construction
disputes; and commercial collections. He is a member of the
Centre County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and is admitted
to practice in all state and federal courts in Pennsylvania
and the United States Supreme Court.
